REFORM – Acie Allen Hollinger, Jr., age 84, died April 23, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama. A private graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jo McDaniel Hollinger; his parents; brothers, Walter Hollinger and Ray Hollinger; and sister. Joyce Hollinger Hudson.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sue Hollinger; son, Timothy Allen Hollinger; daughters, Evelyn Ruth Cooper (Tim) and Carol R. Smith; step-daughters, Wanda McGee and Sonja Brown; step-sons, Steve Peeks and Kerry Peeks; sister, Claudine Hollinger, a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other friends and family.
Mr. Hollinger was born September 16, 1932 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Acie A. Hollinger, Sr. and Zelma Livingston Hollinger. He attended Arbor Springs Baptist Church, was a retired contractor and veteran of the United States Army.
