Albert Lindeburgh Snipes, age 85, of Gordo, AL passed away August 28, 2021 at Northport Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggie Fields Snipes; his parents; brother, Bill Snipes and granddaughter-in-law, Tonya Baines.
Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Roberts (Rodney) of Gordo, Maresa Ledbetter (Michael) of Tuscaloosa and Margaret Seymer (Jeff) of McShan; six grandchildren, Josh Baines, James, Kellie and Kayla Roberts, Carl Sanford and Chipper Seymer and two great-grandchildren, Destiney Roberts and Austin Baines.
Albert was born March 5, 1936 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Albert Lavert Snipes and Trannie Patton Snipes. He was a member of the Methodist faith, a retired employee of Suburban Propane and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
The family would like to thank the staff of Northport Medical Center for the care and compassion given to Albert during his stay.
