Alice Ruth Franklin, age 79, of Gordo, AL passed away October 22, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with John Warren, Chaplain. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Armon Franklin, Sr.; son, Edward Armon Franklin, Jr. and son-in-law, Terry Hallman.
Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Hallman; sons, Wendell Franklin (Mary) and Claus Osbahr; sister, Lois Gray; brother, Tony Kley; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Alice was born July 14, 1942 in Astatula, Florida to the late Frank Kley and Ola Mathis Kley. She was a former bookkeeper for Spiller Furniture and Haverty's Furniture in Tuscaloosa.
