REFORM - Alice Sutton Marlowe, age 90, of Reform, Ala., died June 19, 2017, in Vicksburg, Miss. Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Marvin Chapel Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the services at the church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Marlowe; father of her children, Henry B. McElroy; her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.Survivors include her daughters, Faye Hudson of Vicksburg, Miss. and Sharon Barrett of Carrollton, Ala.; sons, Wayne McElroy (Linda) of Reform, Ala., Billy McElroy (Evelyn) and Terry McElroy of Carrollton, Ala.; sisters, Bess Wilkins and Frances McDaniel; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Marlowe was born May 22, 1927 in Carrollton, Alabama to the late John William Sutton and Vera Strickland Sutton. She was a member of Marvin Chapel Methodist Church, a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.Pallbearers will be Rocky Barrett, David Barrett, Robby McElroy, Cody McElroy, Lee Weeks and Brian McElroy.
