Alice Virginia Parker, age 72, of Tuscaloosa, AL passed away October 28, 2023 at her residence.  Memorial services will be 6:00 pm Friday, November 3, 2023 at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Pritchett and Rev. Mike Perrigin officiating.  Visitation will be for one hour immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Mandy Parker; brother, Billy Joe Pate and sister, Maudene "Pat" Harrell.
Survivors include her daughters, Kristy Bailey and Shannon Driver, both of Gordo; three sisters, Maurene Harrell, Elsie Richardson and Linda Kizziah (Tom); grandsons, Tyler Bailey, Trace Parker (Kalyn), Cole Driver and John Parker Driver; granddaughter, Cesley Channell (Landon); great-granddaughters, Oaklyn and Ozella Lee and Addie and Amelia Plott and special niece, Angel Marlowe.
Alice was born May 31, 1951 in Reform, Alabama to the late Andrew John Pate and Mary Estelle Hollinger Pate. She was a member of People's Baptist Church in Gordo and a former seamstress and caregiver.
Honorary Pallbearers are all the families of her former patients and co-workers that she cared for and loved so dearly; special friend, Tina Beams; her many nieces and nephews and all the friends that she shared her home and her table with throughout the years.
