REFORM – Alice Alene Peeks, age 88, of Reform, Ala., died June 4, 2016, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Kenneth Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Deroy Peeks; her parents; brother, Earl Martin Wilkins; sister, Louise Wilkins; and brother-in-law, Woodrow Sims.Survivors include her son, James Peeks of Reform; sisters, Evelyn Sims of Gordo, Ala. and Faye Cowart (Fred) of McShan, Ala.; and a number of nieces and nephews.Alene was born July 14, 1927 in Reform, Alabama to the late Amber Clester Wilkins and Trannie Mae Lowe Wilkins. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a retired dietician for Salem Nursing Home with 27 years of service and a lifelong resident of Pickens County. Pallbearers will be William Oglesby, Lester Spruill, Brian Wilson, Steve Lowe, Terry Lowe and Randy Simpson.
