REFORM – Allene Noland Clemons, age 86, of Reform, Ala., died September 7, 2017, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Ezelle officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Glenn Noland; son, Kenneth Edward Marlowe; her parents; and brother, Charles Stephens.
She is survived by daughters, Gwen Hill and Deedera Gambrell (Ray); sons, Wayne Marlowe (Carol) and Aubrey Marlowe; sisters, Kate Stephens and Patsy Baine; brother, Henry Stephens (Lynn); nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Allene was born March 19, 1931 in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Bennie Vernon Stephens and Mary Virginia McCafferty Stephens. She was a retired caretaker for the elderly and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
