Alma Clemmie Goodman Harris, age 81, of Tuscaloosa, AL earned her angel wings December 23, 2020. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 1353 Spring Hill Road, Carrollton, AL on Monday, December 28, 2020, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband Charles.
Clemmie is now reunited with her first husband, Roy Charles Goodman, Sr.; her father and mother, Richard and Eula Mae Jones; her brothers, Richard "Red," Clif and Phillip Jones and sister Marguerite, as well as many other extended family and friends.
She will be fondly remembered by her husband TL; daughter, Roxanna Brackett (Thomas); son, Dr. Roy Charles "Chuck" Goodman (Betty); TL's sons, Edward Harris (Paula) and Phillip Harris (Judi); nine grandchildren, Crystal Brackett, Dustin Goodman, Sandlyn Goodman, Carli Brackett, Kayla Brackett, Courtney Harris Gardner, Chris Harris, Madison Harris and Payton Harris; and her sisters, Lil Zaiontz (Hank) and Helen Phillips (Oliver).
Alma was born in Aliceville, AL on April 28, 1939 and resided there until after the death of her husband, Charles. She then moved to Tuscaloosa where she later met and married Titus L. Harris in June, 2000. Clemmie enjoyed reading her Bible, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, Alabama Crimson Tide football and traveling. She was a devoted member of Forest Lake Methodist Church, where she volunteered taking food to families who were sick or had lost a loved one.
The family extends its gratitude to her loving caregivers Cassandra McCain, Gloria Mays and Loretta Green, whose help was invaluable.
