Amanda Alice Bridges Simpson, age 91, of Gordo, AL died April 16, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.  Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday, April 21, 2025 at Hargrove Methodist Church with Rev. Alisia Rhodes officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Millard S. "Mickey" Simpson; her parents; two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Gray (Mike) and Christy Passmore; sons, Michael Simpson (Vivian) and Richard Simpson; four grandchildren, Matthew Simpson, Hillary Simpson Schwartz (Jacob). Rachel Pierce (Jonathan) and Daniel Passmore; five great-grandchildren, Hailey Schwartz, Emilia Jo Schwartz, Charli Rose Schwartz, Logan Pierce and Luke Pierce and a number of nieces and nephews.
Alice was born May 9, 1933 in Liberty, Alabama to the late Harvey Gice Bridges, Sr. and Estelle Clarice Lowe Bridges.  She was a member of Hargrove Methodist Church, retired from Westinghouse and was a retired seamstress for Gayfers and Dillards.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Simpson, Daniel Passmore, Jacob Schwartz, Jonathan Pierce, Blake Corbin and Todd Bridges.
