GORDO - Andrew Stillman Brown, age 88, of Gordo, Ala., died December 7, 2017 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Gordo with Rev. Yancy Windham and Rev. Mike Perrigin officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Marie Brown; his parents; brothers; Edward Brown, Johnny Burt Brown and Garnett Brown; and sister, Clorine Brown Davidson.
Survivors include his wife: Ruth Patterson Brown; sons, Paul Brown (Sherrie) and Timothy Brown (Sonja); brothers, Bobby Brown (Jackie) and Jerry Brown (Tracey Ann); sisters, Clara Fair and Betty Branyon; grandsons, Adam Brown (Lindsey) and Andrew Brown; granddaughters, Bethany Brown and Addie Brown; great-grandson, James Paul Brown; great-granddaughter, Mary Lindsey Brown and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brown was born July 12, 1929 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late W.O. Brown and Annie Frances Junkin Brown. He was a member and deacon of Cross Roads Baptist Church and a retired employee of Weyerhaeuser. Stillman was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving as a staff sergeant in the Korean Conflict.
Pallbearers will be Walter Brown, Tommy Fair, Mike Perrigin, Ryan James, Jerry Kelley and Rocky Livingston.
Honorary pallbearers are Mr. Clifford Junkin.
