ALICEVILLE – Annie Lindselle Featherstone, age 86, of Aliceville, Ala., died October 26, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday October 29, 2017, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Blakney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Earl Featherstone, Sr.; daughter, Karen Pritchett; and two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Cork (Brian); son, Earl Featherstone, Jr.; sister, Barbara Jean Strickland (Bill); grandson, Austin Ferrell Cork; granddaughter, Krista Featherstone; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Annie Lindselle Featherstone was born in Columbus, Miss. on September 2, 1931 to the late Elias "Buddy" Brownlee and Bessie Myrtle Burgess Brownlee. She was a homemaker and member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Austin Cork, Zach Powell, Jessie Reece, Cody Bowles, Billy Strickland, Aaron Shaffer and Dan Brownlee.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
