Obituary

REFORM Annie Lou Oglesby, age 83, of Reform, died October 24, 2013, at Aurora Health & Rehab. Services were held October 26, 2013 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Jackson and Rev. Joe Fondren officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Girlie Hill Oglesby of Reform, Ala.; daughters, Judy Diane Barnes (Bob) and Cherry Austell (Mark), both of Reform, Ala.; four grandchildren, Brett Simpson (April), Brooke Rivera (Rudy), Jacob Austell, and Chase Austell; one step grandchild, Robbie Barnes; five great-grandchildren, Naaman, Kyra, Lauren, Kelsie and Colin; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Brenda Oglesby; a number of nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Bernita Latham and Kathy Bush.

Mrs. Oglesby was born October 18, 1930 in Steens, Mississippi to the late Daniel Umphrey Harcrow and Ruby Mosley Harcrow. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton, a retired employee of Westinghouse with over 30 years of service and a well known resident of Pickens County.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Cross Roads Baptist Church and former employees of Westinghouse.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Baptist Memorial Hospice, P.O. Box 1307, Columbus, MS 39703 or Cross Roads Baptist Church Building Fund, 529 Lewis Crossroads Rd., Carrollton, AL 35447.
