GORDO - Asa Lee Duncan, age 89, of Gordo, Ala., died November 21, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Monday, 26, 2017, at Moores Bridge Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Pritchett, Rev. Brannon Pinion and Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Moores Bridge Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Landa Duncan; his parents; sisters, Exie Mae Sullivan
Elizabeth Snow Farr, Dena K. Coleman and Myrtle Duncan Bostick; and brothers, Earnest B. Duncan, Jr., Tandy K. Duncan and Modester B. Duncan.
Survivors include his sister, Angeous Duncan Henson and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Duncan was born June 29, 1928 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Earnest B. Duncan, Sr. and Alabama Sullivan Duncan. He was a member of Moores Bridge Baptist Church and a retired welder for Butler Manufacturing Company.
