Barbara was born November 8, 1961 in South Carolina to the late Charles Robert Reeves and Joan Crawford Reeves. A true heart of gold . . .the perfect example of not letting the right hand see what the left is doing. She did so many things great and small for all kinds of people, never expecting anything in return. She was an anomaly in this world never judging a soul and loving all, even those who didn't reciprocate the feeling. Her whole world was her true soul mate Mark, loving daughter, Brooke and her three blessings she called grandchildren, Austale, JJ and Ella Rae. The deep ache will not ease, but we rest assured we will see her again in heaven.
The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Julia Boothe, RN Darlene Brownlee, Encompass Hospice and Hospice nurse Tammy Conley who walked us through this ache with compassion that could only have been extended by Jesus. Thank you all for being His hands and feet.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in Barbara's name to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601; 1-800-lungusa or action.lung.org.
