RALPH | Barbara Ann Galbreath, age 67, of Ralph and formerly of Gordo, died August 17, 2015. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Johnny "Pete" Galbreath; her parents and her sister, Beverly Godwin.
Survivors include her son, Jason Galbreath and wife Marie; brother, Larry Smith (Karen); and six grandchildren, Devin, Austin, Hunter, Wyatt, Patton and Lacey.
Barbara was born August 1, 1948 in Tuscaloosa County, Ala. to the late James Wilson Smith and Elvie Champion Smith. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a former employee of Westinghouse in Reform, Ala., and United Technologies in Columbus, Miss.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Care Center for the care they gave to Barbara and to Dr. Graham and Dr. Anguiano for the patience and time that they gave.
