Barbara Ann McDavid, age 68, of Reform, Alabama died October 5, 2018 at home. Graveside services
will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Strickland
officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Saturday, October 6, 2018
from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diane Odom all of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Wayne C. McDavid, Sr; her sons, Kenneth McDavid and Wayne
McDavid, Jr; her sister, Carolyn Heacock; two brothers, James Hughes and David Hughes and her
granddaughter, Madison Rose McDaniel.
Barbara was born January 11, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late James W. "Hat" Hughes
and Willie F. Hill Hughes. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be James Hughes, David Hughes, Kenneth McDavid, Wayne McDavid, Jr., Josh Hughes
and Rex Heacock.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,
Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Society, Mid-South Division, 1100 Ireland Way, Suite 201,
Birmingham, AL 35205.
