ALICEVILLE – Barbara Ann Wilson, age 70, of Aliceville, Ala., passed away October 29, 2017 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Dogwood Chapel with Jason Housewright officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends after the service at Aliceville First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Joe Freeman Wilson; daughters, Sandy Wilson Long and Barbara Joann Lavender (Drake); brother, Raymond Crawford, Jr.; and six grandchildren, Dillon Long (Siyu), Lane Pearson, Ashley Pearson, Dusty Long, Drew Long and Beth Lavender.
Barbara was born May 15, 1947 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama to the late Raymond Crawford, Sr. and Nellie Crawford. She was a member of West End Baptist Church in Aliceville and a retired daycare worker.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Jay Parker and staff.
