Becky Elmore, age 69, of Gordo, Ala., died May 25, 2019, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Gordo First United Methodist Church with Rev. Marvin McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Monday, May 27, 2019, from 6 – 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state thirty minutes prior to the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Felicia Perrigin.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Elmore; daughter, Amanda Lightsey (T.C.); sons, Tony Perrigin, Mike Perrigin (Kim) and Craig Perrigin (Heather); brother, Terry Lee (Linda); five grandchildren, Kayla Perrigin, Katelin Perrigin, Keith Perrigin, Ella Grace Waller and Reagan Lightsey; and one great-grandchild, Alivia Murray.
Becky was born October 21, 1949 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Joseph Woodrow Lee and Gracie Hall Lee. She was a pharmacy tech with Glass-Davis Drugs and CVS for many years. Becky was a member of the Gordo First United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Nick Perrigin, Billy Lee, Hannon Elmore, Will Elmore, Mike Lee and Chris Waller.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
