Benjamin Powell "Dr. Ben" Curry, Jr., age 76, of Carrollton, AL died February 2, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.  Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Carrollton United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Boothe and Pat Creel officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Benjamin Powell Curry III.
Survivors include his wife, Rebekah Curry; daughter, Shelley Curry Pate (Franklin); brother, Ashley Curry (Marga); seven grandchildren, Benjamin Powell Curry IV, Charles Connor Curry, Lillian Vold, Lucille Vold, Hugh Pate (Abby), Haeden Pate and Harrison Pate; one great-granddaughter, Margot Pate and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dr. Ben was born September 20, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Benjamin Powell Curry, Sr. and Lillian Cotey Curry.  He was a member of Carrollton United Methodist Church, retired director for HELP, Inc and former Director of Satellite Mental Health Center at Indian Rivers.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center, 809 University Blvd. E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
