Bernice Sullivan Wallace, age 88, of Elrod, AL passed away October 24, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Dunns Creek Baptist Church with Rev. George Shaddix and Rev. Billy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James O. Wallace; her parents; sister, Willodean Bolling and brother, John "J. L." Sullivan.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Wallace Lee (Bruce); grandson, Christopher Lee (Rebecca); two great-grandsons, Will Lee and Gray Lee and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bernice was born September 3, 1933 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Floyd Sullivan and Mattie Sullivan Sullivan. She was a member of Moore's Bridge Baptist Church and a retired employee of Debra Knit in Northport, AL.
