Bessie Pearl Hughes Hinton, age 73, of Aliceville, AL died January 6, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Miracle Deliverance Temple, 2721
County Road 133, Boligee, AL 35443 with Pastor Martha Henderson and Bishop Jimmy McClung
officiating. Burial will follow in the Hughes Family Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform
directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Willie Bonner, Fannie Boss and Annethee
Boyd and two brothers, Walter Hughes and John Henry Hughes.
Survivors include her sons, Nathan Hinton, Jr. and Calvin Hinton, Sr. and wife, Felicia; three
sisters, Adeline Everett, Bettye Hughes and Linda Stanton; two brothers, Eddie Hughes (Juliette) and
Richard Hughes; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hinton was born June 27, 1945 in Alabama to the late Eddie Hughes and Mattie Claira
Watts Hughes. She was a homemaker and member of Miracle Deliverance Temple in Boligee, AL.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons.
