Bessie W. McGee, age 86, of Gordo, AL died September 14, 2025 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home in Reform.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Albert Price McGee; daughter, Debbie Peeks; son-in-law, Steve Peeks, brother, Herbert Walker; sister, Ruby Bush and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Sullivan and husband, Jimmy; one grandson, Alex Sullivan (Brooke); three great-grandchildren, Grayson Sullivan, Maverick Sullivan and Slade McGee Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Berry McGee (Wanda) and Larry McGee (Tanya) and a number of nieces and nephews.
Bessie was born May 3, 1939 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late O. L. Walker and Velma House Walker.  She was a homemaker and also worked at the Gordo Public Library for over 20 years.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
