August 17, 1933 – August 22, 2024
Betty Sue Breazzeal Millican passed away peacefully Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Somerby Memory Care in Mobile. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2024 at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Gordo with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
Betty was a native of Reform and the daughter of Roberta Skelton and Gilbert Monroe Breazzeal. She was predeceased by her husband, William Riley Millican; son, William Michael Millican; her parents; brothers, Herman and Rufus Breazzeal; sister-in-law, Cacilia Breazzeal Cassinelli and great-nephew, Ryan Breazzeal.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Ed Clough; special nephew, Mark Breazzeal, his wife, Lynn and children, Eric, Paige and Ashley Breazzeal and grandson, Rowan.
Also surviving is step-grandson, Jim, his wife, Jill and sons, Jackson and Jeffrey Clough; special cousins, Clarice Bertini, brother-in-law, Rev. David Millican; sister-in-law, Beth and her husband, Rev. Larry Taylor along with other cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Betty was a graduate of Vigor High School Class of 1952, a wife for 66 years and a devoted daughter, mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
The family would like to thank Paula Stewart, owner and CEO of Gentle Love and Care Caretaking Services and her team for the compassionate care they provided. Thank you Miss Paula and Miss Tamela and thank you to the staff at Somerby Mobile and Aveanna Hospice.
