Betty Sue Carver, age 88, of Kennedy, AL passed away October 25, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Zion Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Chris McCool officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Carver; son, Gary Carver; her parents and sister, Linda Malone Beersdorf.
Survivors include her son, Barry Carver and wife, Donna of Gordo; daughter-in-law, Teresa Carver of Gordo; sister, Annie Lois Carroll of Steens, MS; two brothers, Hayward Malone (Betty) of Northport and Larry Malone (Emma) of Moody; grandchildren, Britni Carver Nicholson (Justin) of Northport, Bradley Carver of Northport, Ashley Carver of Foley, Jacob Carver of Cantonment, FL; step-grandchildren, Josh Keating of Millport, Keven Perry of Gordo, Jessica Elmore of Gordo and Jodi Grace (John) of Reform; seven great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
Betty was born September 26, 1935 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late A. A. Malone and Rosa Anderson Malone.  She was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church and a retired employee of Peco.
