REFORM | Betty Robertson Gault, age 80, of Reform, Ala. died October 25, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trey Kelley, Rev. Ralph Smith and Jamie Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Big Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Robertson; her parents; and sister, Amye Jewel Cobb.Survivors include her husband, Ralph Gault; daughters, Linda Plowman (Lawrence) and Lisa Shirley (Tony); stepsons, Eddy Gault (Edith) and Bryan Gault (Wendy); sisters, Jessie Davis and Ann Gilliland; grandchildren, Tracy, Jeremy and Tara (Caleb); great-grandchildren, Alexis and Griffin; step-grandchildren, Jess (Shelly) and Ashley (Brandon); and step-great-grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Skyler and Lindsey. Betty was born December 19, 1934 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Eldon James and Dessie Lee Dyer James. She was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church, a retired employee of United Technologies and Gordo High School and a lifelong resident of Pickens County. Pallbearers will be Ryan Lolley, Jamie Chapman, Randy Burgess, Eddy Gault, Bryan Gault and Danny Gilliland. Honorary pallbearers are former employees of Westinghouse and staff of Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
