Betty Jo O'Bryant, age 77, of Gordo, AL passed away January 17, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Trull officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. A short visitation will be immediately following the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Curtis Jones and infant grandson, Ethan Riley George.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bobby C. O'Bryant; daughter, Melisa George (Mike); sons, Mike O'Bryant (Angela) and Ken O'Bryant (Christy); sister-in-law, Linda Trull; five grandchildren, Amanda Pike (Shane), Aaron O'Bryant (Rachel), Andrew O'Bryant, Laken George and Lacey George and six great-grandchildren, Eva Vickers, Elly Vickers, Eli Pike, Bridger O'Bryant, Brady O'Bryant and Asher O'Bryant.
Betty was born September 11, 1944 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Buster Jones and Bertha Barrett Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Gordo.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
