Betty Nelson Pepper, age 95, of Aliceville, AL passed away February 10, 2021 at Arbor Woods Health and Rehab. Private funeral services will be held at Skelton Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harold Reese Pepper and her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Pepper (Jerry) and Leah Pepper Cochrane (Steve); son, Nelson B. Pepper (Julie); two grandchildren, Stephanie P. Roote (Aaron) and Christopher Cochrane and great-grandson, Henry Roote.
Betty was born August 30, 1925 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Lowell Nelson and Ida Elvira Ayers Nelson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Aliceville and a retired employee of Alabama Power Company.
