Betty Ruth Schultz, age 85 of Ethelsville, AL passed away March 19, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Ethelsville Baptist Church with Rev. Mel Howton officiating. Burial will be in Ethelsville Community Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. Bradshaw and Hattie Louise Whitten Bradshaw; son, Jerry Alan Schultz; daughter, Patricia Hammond; granddaughter, Amber Schultz; sisters, Rebecca Powell and Patricia Ann Bradshaw; brothers, J. W. Bradshaw, Henry Bradshaw, Charles Bradshaw and Gilbert Bradshaw.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Bertis Mayo Schultz of Ethelsville; two sons, Bertis Shultz (Cathy) and Roger Schultz (Elisa), all of Ethelsville; six grandchildren, Rachel Heaton (Heath), Heather Harcrow (Chris), Kayla Brown (Trey), Kristen Harvey (Allen), Noah Hammond and Lauren Calaway (Jacob) and twelve great-grandchildren, Ezra, Lydia, Micah, Holden, Nora, Jonah, Charlotte, Olivia, Marshall, Elizabeth, Nicole and Avery.
Betty was born August 16, 1938 in Ethelsville, Alabama.  She was a member of Ethelsville Baptist Church, a retired employee of Westinghouse and former manager of Schultz Grocery.
Pallbearers will be Noah Hammond, Allen Harvey, Chris Harcrow, Trey Brown, Jacob Calaway, Heath Heaton, Alan Hammond and Paul Agerton.
