Bettye Carol Spencer Pike, age 81, of Gordo, AL passed away June 9, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Pike; daughter, Robin Murphy and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim Noland (Doug) of Gordo, AL; son, Mark Burns of Coaling, AL; two brothers, Joe Spencer (Shelia) of Gordo, AL and Billy Spencer (Karen) of Grand Bay, AL; eight grandchildren, Heath Woods (Brandi), Brooke Woods, Josh Marlowe, Kandace Burns, Katelyn McDill, Maribeth Boothe (Justin), Cody Burns and Caleb Burns and six great-grandchildren.
Bettye was born July 4, 1939 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Victor Spencer and Ruby Wilson Spencer. Bettye was a retired employee of Salem Nursing Home in Reform.
Pallbearers will be Heath Woods, Trey Woods, Cody Burns, Caleb Burns, Dan O'Mary and Craig Parker.
Honorary Pallbearers are her special friends, Blair Posey and Faye Mason.
