Billy was born June 12, 1940 in Reform, Alabama to the late Ernest Preston Peeks and Annie Sue Kelley Peeks. He was a retired employee of Alabama Power Company with 34 years and 5 months of service and a veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard. Billy Wayne Peeks was affectionately known by all of his family, and to all that came to know him as "Big Daddy". He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. There was nothing that he couldn't build or fix. Anybody that called upon "Big Daddy" for help, knew they were going to get his best. He set an excellent example to his children of hard work and family, which were cornerstones of his life. "Big Daddy" lived a full life, and we take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his love, Carolyn (Nana).
