Billy Hubert Stephens, age 72, of Peterson, AL passed away November 20, 2021 at his son's home in Coker, AL. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Friday, November 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Clinton with Rev. Jason Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alfred Stephens and Bobby Stephens and sister, Nancy Lahman.
Survivors include his sons, Brian Stephens (Susan), Michael Stephens (Denise), Scott Stephens (Lesha) and Bradley Stephens; sister, Stephanie Stephens; six grandchildren, Kristi, Courtney (Adam), Andrew (Lindsey), Cameron, Cade and Charlee; five great-grandchildren, Bella, Evie Jo, Oakley, Emerson and Hadley and a number of nieces and nephews.
Billy was born July 27, 1949 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Howard Eugene Stephens and Dora Ethel Jones Stephens. He was a member of the Baptist faith, a retired salesman and veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War.
Honorary Pallbearers are employees and nurses of Hospice of West Alabama and "Bart, the horse".
