Blanche Taylor, age 92, of Ethelsville, AL passed away December 2, 2024 at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab in Reform.  Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 6, 2024 at Ethelsville Community Cemetery with Bro. Joey Lucas officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  A short visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd W. Taylor, Jr; her parents; sisters, Mary Powell, Corrine Jaynes and Louise Bradshaw and brothers, Carter Whitten, Troy Whitten, Calvin Whitten, James Whitten, Dewitt Whitten, Shaden Whitten, Clarence Whitten, Jr, Virgil Whitten and Earnest Whitten.
Survivors include her brother, Bennie Whitten and wife, Patsy of Millport; niece and caregiver, Brenda Byars (Charles), a number of other nieces and nephews and special friends, Joe and Beverly Barnes.
Blanche was born October 12, 1932 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Clarence Whitten, Sr. and Alice Brownlee Whitten.   She was a member of Ethelsville Baptist Church and a retired employee of United Technologies in Columbus, MS with over 30 years of service.
