Bobby Wayne Adams Sr., age 75, of Carrollton, Ala., died June 9, 2016, at his home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Hammons officiating. Burial will follow with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Adams.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy McIntyre Adams; children, Angela Adams Powell, Bobby W. Adams, Jr. (Anna Price), Lynn Adams and Ronny Adams; sister, Patricia Adams Price (Bill); grandchildren, Evelyn Powell, Mikalah Powell Erickson (Cody), Blake Gaubatz, Bella Gaubatz, RoseMary Adams, Miranda Adams and Colton Adams; great-grandchildren, Dante Zamani, Adelaine Zamani and Ethan Erickson; and a host of nieces and nephews.Bobby was born June 16, 1940 in Columbus Mississippi to the late Earl W. Adams and Annie Martin Adams. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer serving as a machinist mate in the United States Navy.Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A retired Naval Chief who was always, "Chief", his hobbies included fishing and gardening.
