Bobby Carl Moss, age 81, of Mobile, AL died February 25, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2
South McGregor Ave., Mobile, AL 36608 with Rev. Dr. Jerry Gunnells, Rev. Terry Richey and Rev. Dr.
Rob Hatfield officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Graham Memorial Cemetery in
Reform, AL with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Peggy Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Mullen Moss; two sons, Scott Moss and wife, Cynthia and
Drew Moss and wife, Sara; two sisters, Patsy Carroll (Rayburn) and Carolyn Lowe (Jerry); his brother-in-law,
Joe Wright and four grandchildren, Eli Moss, Ethan Moss, Andrew Moss and Luke Moss.
Bobby was born May 14, 1937 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Walter Scott Moss and Grace Elmore
Moss. He was a lifetime member and deacon of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, a retired civil engineer
for International Paper Company and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
