Brenda Lynn Grammer, age 77 of Carrollton, AL, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 1, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform, AL with Elder, Tim McCool officiating. Burial will follow in Double Branch Independent Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William S. Grammer and brothers, Michael Junkin and Larry B. Junkin.
She is survived by her daughters, Danna Grammer and Michelle Grammer; son, Fred Grammer and wife, Misty; brother, Raven Junkin and wife, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Preston Grammer (Ashlyn), Justin Fritz, Chelsea Grammer, Morgan Tullos, Brandon Rye, Heather Grammer, Nancy Grammer, and Victoria Faulkner (Cody); eight great grandchildren, John Colson Grammer, Everett Grammer, Emma Carroll, Aleah Sadler, Paxton Roe, Bristol McDonald, Colton Faulkner and Bobby Faulkner and a number of nieces and nephews.
Brenda was born Tuesday November 7, 1944 in Alabama to the late Vernie Junkin and Nora Moss Junkin. She was a lifetime resident of Pickens County and a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Julia Boothe, Dr. Neil Honea and staff, staff of Amedisys Home Health, staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home, and members of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests all memorials be made to Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church, 11890 Providence Hill, Elrod, AL 35458.
