Brenda Joyce Oglesby, age 79, of Reform, AL died August 28, 2026 at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton with Bro. Joe Fondren officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James Freddie Oglesby; son, Richard Oglesby; her parents, Jimmy and Eunice Gray Wilkins; brother, Tommy Wilkins and wife, June and brother-in-law, Jim Frank Seymer;

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Oglesby of Smyrna, GA; son, Jarrod Oglesby of Reform; sister, Marguerite Seymer; brothers, Jim Wilkins (Gayle), David Wilkins (Judy), Bruce Howard (Mary) and Rufus Wilkins (Denise) and a number of nieces and nephews.

Brenda was born October 29, 1946 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and a retired assistant manager for Lowe’s.

Honorary Pallbearers are Rufus Wilkins, Jim Wilkins, David Wilkins, Bruce Howard, Carol Morgan, Mone Adams, Anita Ruffin, employees of Alabama Hospice Care of Tuscaloosa and employees of Arbor Woods Health and Rehab.
