Brian Kilgore, age 73, of Gordo, AL passed away June 3, 2024 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.  Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shawn McDaniel officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Elmore Kilgore; his parents and sister, Linda Gail Kilgore.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelli Kilgore; son, Jim Kilgore (April); brother, Steve Kilgore and three grandchildren, Dayleigh Boutwell (Dallas), Caden Pate and Ashtyn Pate.
Brian was born July 3, 1950 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to the late Dewitt Kilgore and Kathleen Acker Kilgore.  He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a retired employee of Noland Lumber Company.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Kilgore, Ken Acker, Mike Acker, Dennis McDaniel, Tim McDaniel and Ken Blake.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to The  Humane Society of the United States, 1255  23rd Street NW, Suite 450, Washington, DC  20037 or to a favorite charity.
