Bro. Rickey Jackson, age 75, of McShan AL passed away June 5, 2024 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton with Bro. Mike Hall, Bro. Paul Shaw and Bro. Joe Fondren officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Friday, June 7, 2024 at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peck Jackson; his mother, Jean Abrams; first wife, Mary Ellen Criswell Jackson and brothers, James Jackson and Glen Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Wynette Jackson of McShan; daughters, Micki Phipps (Eddie) of McShan and Bonnie Alexander (Joel) of Millport; son, Darren Kelley (Sharon) of Foley; stepsons, Tony Walker (Lieanne) of Columbus, MS and Todd Walker (Angela) of Moberly, MO; stepdaughters, Tina Blackwell (Russell) of Caledonia, MS and Tammy Purvis (Mike) of Warrior; brother, Jody Jackson of Saraland; sisters, Ann Reed of Vernon, Donna Simmons of Tuscaloosa and Susan Robinson of California; seventeen grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Bro. Rickey was born October 10, 1948 in Vernon, Alabama.  He was the Pastor at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton for over 13 years, a saw miller and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Pallbearers are Dan O'Mary, Jackie Ray, Mark McDaniel, Ricky Hill, Logan Alexander, Rickey Phipps, Chase Kelley and Shawn McDaniel.
Honorary Pallbearers are the men of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton.
