EUTAW - Carla Whitten Bedwell, age 59, of Eutaw, Ala., entered her eternal home on August 5, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church with Dr. Thomas Kay officiating and 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Briarwood Presbyterian Church with Rev. Mark Cushman officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the services. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is directing.
She was preceded in death by her father, William L. Whitten.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Charles R. Bedwell; mother, Leonora Hunter Whitten; sister, Betsy Whitten Cole; brother, William Hunter Whitten (Jennifer); nephew, Walker Whitten; and niece, Anna James Whitten.
Carla was an equestrian, artist and entrepreneur who had a great love and devotion for animals especially horses. She also enjoyed her antique business.
