Carol Pearce Norwood, age 61, of Eutaw, AL died August 1, 2018 in Greene County.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street
NE in Aliceville with Rev. Carl Sudduth officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Dogwood Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Guy and Betty Ruth Wheat Pearce and one
brother, Ricky Pearce.
Survivors include her husband Wallace Norwood; daughter, Ivy Norwood Wilson and husband,
Jeremy; son, Stephen Norwood and wife, Amanda; brothers, Guy Pearce, Jr. (Vickie) and Jimmy
Pearce (Scarlet ); uncle, Billy Sam Wheat (Sherry) and aunt, Bertha Bauer (Lou).
Carol was born October 22, 1956 in Ft. Eustis, Virginia. She was a member of West Greene
Baptist Church, a member of the last graduating class of DCH School of Nursing and a retired registered
nurse for the Alabama Department of Public Health.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial to the Greene County Ambulance Service,
