Cecelia "Darlene" Channell, age 59, of Buhl, AL died February 27, 2026 at her residence.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Buhl with Bro. Tim Tindell officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, James "Jimmy" Channell, Jr.; daughter, Castie Kinard (Jason) of Coaling; son, Chris Channell of Coker; sister, Cynthia Kay Marcum; brothers, Aaron "Junior" Marcum (Marsha) of Coker and Frank Marcum (Melanie) of Coker and four grandchildren, A. J. Channell, Adelyn Channell, Grant Kinard and Sawyer Kinard.
Darlene was born March 13, 1966 in Coker, Alabama to the late Aaron Marcum and Selena Mae Crawford Marcum.  She was a homemaker.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Alabama Hospice Care, 94 McFarland Blvd., Northport, AL 35476-3348 or to UAB Cancer Center, 1802 6th Avenue S, Birmingham, AL 35233.
