Jason Chadwick "Chad" Brown, age 47, of Gordo, AL passed away February 2, 2024 at his residence after a lengthy illness.  A private graveside service was held at 1:30 pm Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Flatwoods Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Kennedy officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Eugene Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Yearby.
Survivors include his parents, Richard Brown and Debra Yearby Brown; stepson, Landon Elliott; special aunt and uncle, Linda and Dr. Robert Carden and a host of other beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chad was born December 10, 1976 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He was a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church, a multi-craft millwright and before his illness, he was employed at Hanna Steel.
