Ethelsville | Charles "Chuck'' Miller, age 56, of Ethelsville, died September 24, 2015 in Jefferson County, Ala. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015, at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbus, Miss. with Bro. Jimmy Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Methodist Church Cemetery in Ethelsville, Ala. with Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jean Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Miller of Ethelsville, Ala; his sons, Brandon Miller (April) of Kansas City; Leo Miller (Emily) of Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Amanda Landon (Steve) of New Hope, Miss.; 4 grandchildren, Ania, Ariel, Tacoma and Josh; sisters, Lee Irwin of Oklahoma City, Claudia Lee and Joan Scarbrough (Leroy), all of Bay Minette, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Scott Nichols, Eric Eaton, Bill Hall, John Pevey, Kevin Cuevas and Richard Miller.
Honorary pallbearers are the Older, Wiser Peoples Sunday School Class and the Coffee Group.
Chuck was born August 19, 1959 in Bay Minette, Ala. to the late Leo James Miller and Clarice Ward Miller. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, an employee of Chism Trucking in Columbus, Miss. and a veteran of the U. S. Army with 23 years of service.
