GORDO | Charles Dennis ""Denny"" Elmore, age 58, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at home. Services will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 at Gordo First Baptist Church with Rev. Al Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.
Survivors include his parents, Verner and Betty Ray Elmore of Gordo; brothers, Gary Elmore (Lee) of Tuscaloosa, Mike Elmore (Debbie) of Northport, Doug Elmore (Cathy) of Mobile, Al Elmore (Lori) of Lima, Ohio, and Eddie Elmore (Lisa) of Ralph; sister, Melanie Gray (Jeff) of Northport; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Denny was born July 20, 1956 in Reform, Alabama. He was an electrician and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Pallbearers will be Randolph Trull, Lonny Jenkins, Bennett Elmore, Dylan Elmore, Jared Gray, and Andrew Elmore.
