REFORM | Charles L. Hall, age 80, of Reform, died August 1, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Miss. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2014, at Ethelsville Community Cemetery, with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform, directing. Visitation will be Sunday night, August 3, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dale Hester Hall; parents; five brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his daughter, Elisa Hall McGarity (Dwight) of Reform, Ala.; sons, Danny Hall (Tonya) of Northport, Ala. and Calvin Hall (Barbara) of Reform, Ala.; sister, Allie Lois Reynolds; six grandchildren, Robert Hall (Paige), Stacie Chapman (Howard C.), David McGarity (Brandi), John McGarity (Kayleigh), Rachel Adams (Eric), and Trudy Dawkins (Eric); and great-grandchildren, Gracie Adams, Zoey McGarity, Maelie McGarity, Kylie McGarity, Gracie Jo Dearman, Ethan Hall, Elliot Hall, Abbey Hall, Howard D. Chapman, and Reese Chapman.
Mr. Hall was born March 16, 1934, in Ethelsville, Ala., to the late Arthur Hall and Evie Sansing Hall. He was retired from Airline Manufacturing in Columbus, Miss., and was a well-known resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be David McGarity, John McGarity, Eric Adams, Eric Dawkins, Joe Sanders, and Danny Moorehead.
Honorary pallbearers are Ken Dyer, William Latham, and Junior Abrams.
