Christopher Jared Comerford, age 47, of Gordo, AL died September 07, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow at Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Comerford; grandparents , Ralph & Joyce Comerford and Gene & Sarah Anderson.

Survivors include his mother, Debbie Comerford; sister, Nikki Chandler (Shane); nieces, Alyssa Chandler and Neela Chandler; nephew, Blane Chandler; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Comerford was born August 10,1978 in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was a construction worker.

Pallbearers will be Lee Garrett, Jason Mullenix, Johnny McDaniel, Ricky Reece, Randy Dillard and Danny Trull.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his friends from the Phoenix House.
