Clarice Brown, age 79, of Ethelsville, AL passed away December 15, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 20, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glenn Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Ethelsville Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Alfred Barton, Charlie B. Barton, Woodrow Barton and William Barton.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Brown; daughters, Lawanda Brown and Shelia McCrary (Patrick); son, David Brown; two brothers, Earnest Barton and Eugene Barton; five grandchildren, Leigh Andra Teer (Heath), Chase Guarino, Max McCrary (Bridget), Benjamin McCrary (Paige) and Emily McCrary and two great-grandchildren, Linkyn Teer and Josie McCrary.                                                                                                          Clarice was born October 3, 1942 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Earnest Barton and Tessie Hester Barton.  She was a homemaker and a member of Ethelsville Church of God.                                                                                                                                                                  In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Ethelsville Church of God, 3896 County Road 75, Ethelsville, AL 35461.
