REFORM – Herbert Cleatus Latham, age 59, of Reform, Ala., died August 26, 2017, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Ala. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Windle, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Jeremiah Latham.
Survivors include his parents, Herbert Latham and Ruby Fitch Latham; sister, Dr. Darla Latham; special friends, Carol and Ben Simpson and the Stansel Baptist Church family.
Cleatus was born June 12, 1958 in Reform, Alabama. He was a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church, a 1976 graduate of Pickens Academy, a former self employed truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Pallbearers will be Russ Brown, Ken Burns, Chad Fitch, Simuel Latham, Hal Rozzelle, Michael Cooper and James Latham. Honorary pallbearers are the Pickens Academy Class of 1976.
