Clifford Lowe, age 93, of Carrollton died May 15, 2017 at Pickens County Medical Center. Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Robbins officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior and immediately following the service. Burial will be in Carrollton City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Elsie Lee Lowe; parents ; son in law: Jerry Parham; and 4 brothers
He is survived by his daughters: Judy Parham of Reform, AL and Janice Lee (O'Neal) of Gordo AL; Grandchildren: Penney Scott (Bruce), Cristy Kirk Thompson (Eric), Michael Kirk, and Michael Parham; and one great grandchild Elizabeth Thompson.
Clifford was born February 23, 1924 in Reform, AL, to the late Willie L. Lowe and Carrie Lee Spinks Lowe. He was a retired employee of the Town of Carrollton Water Works Department and Pate Lumber Company. Mr. Lowe was a member of Reform First United Methodist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army and well-known resident of Carrollton, AL.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dudley Burkhalter, Rolston Oglesby, Ricky Williams and T.R. Logging, Frank Pate and former employees of Pate Lumber Company.
