Obituary

Coby Mason Boone Junkin, age 21, born October 29, 2003, passed away on December 11, 2024 on the way to the woods to do what he loved, and will be buried on family land close to the people he loved.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with Bro. Mark Dean and Bro. Trey Reece officiating.   Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his mom and dad, Mark and Renee Junkin; brother and best friend, Caleb Junkin (Faith); sister, Carleigh Howard (Tyler), grandparents, Charles Ray and Rita Boone; uncle, Anthony Boone, nieces and nephew, Hadley Junkin and Fisher and Brinley Howard and special cousins, Wesley Junkin (Savannah) and Lauren Hollis (Adam).
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Samuel and Esther Junkin.
Coby was loved by everyone who knew him, and he loved his family deeply.  He was a man of few words but was always ready to crack a joke and lighten the mood.  Coby was a hard worker and would work in the log woods before the sun came up till long past sundown.  He would rather have a bad day in the woods than a good day sitting at home.  He had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand.  We were blessed to have him for 21 years and our lives were better because of him.  We will love you forever Coby.
Pallbearers will be Triston Stevens, Hunter Britt, Caden Byrd, Brent Vail, Wesley Junkin, Jeff Conn and Tyler Howard.
Honorary Pallbearers are his brother, Caleb Junkin, coworkers at Double C Logging: Roy Oglesby, Michael Dison, Darryl Pollett, Ryan Elmore, Luke Elmore, Caden Byrd, Tim Smith, Daniel Perkins, Jerry Crowell, Alan Parker, Tommy Underwood, Wayne Robertson, Hunter Britt and Chris Bowles and Southern Supply Group.
